It might be hard to keep Marvel’s upcoming movie and TV slate straight especially with the recent announcements at San Diego Comic-Con 2022. The roadmap for Phases 4, 5, and 6 of the MCU can be overwhelming to absorb.
There are new updates about the release dates and details for some of the most anticipated films and TV series in the MCU. This includes the next two Avengers films that will conclude the Multiverse Saga.
However, the Phase 5 and 6 film lineup has been undergoing frequent changes due to a major reshuffle at Disney, which caused numerous delays.

Secret Invasion (June 21, 2023)
In Secret Invasion, the story follows Fury and Talos as they team up to stop the Skrulls, an alien race, from infiltrating and taking over the most powerful parts of the Marvel Universe.
The 6-episode series has a cast that includes Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, and Ben Mendelsohn as the Skrull Talos. Additionally, Olivia Colman, Emilia Clarke, and Kingsley Ben-Adir will be joining the series as newcomers.

Loki: Season 2 (October 6, 2023)
Marvel fans worldwide can rejoice as another season of Loki is currently in production after the massive success of the first season on Disney+.
Filming for the new season of Loki has started, but the release date is unclear. The season will pick up after the shocking finale of season 1 where Loki confronts the Time Variance Authority. The aftermath shows Sylvie setting off a multiverse war, Loki stranded in another dimension, and a new and more dangerous variant of He Who Remains has come into power.
We do however have confirmation that Tom Hiddleston will return as Loki, while Owen Wilson will play Agent Mobius, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw will portray Ravonna Renslayer. Ke Huy Quan has also joined the cast for the second season.

The Marvels (November 10, 2023)
The Marvels is the official title of Captain Marvel 2, with Brie Larson reprising her role as Carol Danvers, a former Air Force pilot.
Samuel L Jackson will return in his famed role as Nick Fury, and is also joined by Iman Vellani as Ms Marvel, with Teyonah Harris as Monica Rambeau.
Nia DaCosta, known for directing “Candyman,” is helming the upcoming film that continues the story of Ms. Marvel and Captain Marvel subsequent to the events of the former’s Disney+ series.

X-Men ’97 (Autumn 2023)
There is limited information available about X-Men ’97, the upcoming animated TV series set to release soon. However, it is confirmed that the show will continue from where the original 1992 X-Men animated series left off, with Beau DeMayo taking charge of the writing and production duties.
The program is set to release in 2023, and is currently thought to exist outside the MCU continuity at this point.

What If…? Season 2 (2023 or 2024)
Marvel’s first animated show is finally returning with 9 new episodes. These episodes explore alternate realities and endings created as a result of the timeline branching off in another direction. The trailer shown at SDCC revealed the return of classic characters, and a glimpse of Marvel 1602, a Neil Gaiman-penned story set in the 17th century.
According to reports, Season 2 of the MCU was originally planned to be released in 2023, but it currently does not have a confirmed release date and may be delayed until 2024.

Echo (29 November, 2023)
The upcoming series “Echo” will focus on Maya Lopez, a deaf Native American who was adopted by Kingpin, New York’s notorious crime boss. The show will delve into her role as the leader of the Tracksuit Mafia, a criminal organization based in the city.
Alaqua Cox will reprise her role as Maya Lopez in the upcoming production. Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin and Charlie Cox reprising his role as Daredevil are also rumored to appear in this series.
Devery Jacobs has also joined the team, though her role remains undisclosed. The upcoming series was previewed at D23 and includes appearances from stars Tantoo Cardinal and Zahn McClarnon.

Ironheart (Autumn 2023)
In Ironheart, Dominique Thorne portrays Riri Williams, a young, super genius inventor who is determined to leave her mark on the world. Her approach to creating iron suits is both innovative and flawed, and the show explores the interplay between technology and magic.
Directors Sam Bailey and Angela Barnes have joined the production team, which includes producer Ryan Coogler, for the upcoming movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever which will mark the first ever appearance of Ironheart in the MCU.
At the D23 event, Feige welcomed Anthony Ramos on stage to meet fans and talk about his role as Parker Robbins, also known as The Hood.

Agatha: Coven of Chaos (Late 2023)
Agatha: Coven of Chaos is a 9-episode series spinoff from WandaVision, featuring Kathryn Hahn returning as Agatha Harkness.
Agatha Harkness is the second Marvel character getting her own spinoff series following after Echo from Hawkeye. It’s being written and produced by Jac Schaeffer, who has also worked on WandaVision. Production is currently in progress and is scheduled to finish in May 2023.
