Bestow a coin upon your beloved minstrel, Jaskier! Joey Batey, who portrays the character in Netflix’s The Witcher, initially enchanted us with the infectious melody of “Toss A Coin To Your Witcher.”
Since then, he has gifted us with additional musical creations, and the most recent one, “The Ride of the Witcher,” in collaboration with the folk metal band Percival Schuttenbach, can now be enjoyed at our leisure.

“Ride Witcher Ride” ventures into darker territories compared to the likes of “Toss A Coin” or “Burn Witcher Burn,” resonating with deep bass beats and Percival Schuttenbach’s compelling vocals.
This collaboration, featuring Jaskier/Batey’s evocative lyrics, Percival Schuttenbach’s contribution, and the show’s composer Joseph Trapanese, delivers an extra punch. Joseph Trapanese, known for his work on Shadow and Bone’s score, adds his expertise to this captivating composition.
The song, coupled with previous remarks from Batey and The Witcher showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, indicates that Jaskier will receive improved treatment in the upcoming episodes, including the development of his own romantic storyline.
The unfolding of Jaskier’s adventures in season three and Henry Cavill’s witcher journey will be revealed when the first half of the season premieres on Netflix on June 29, 2023. The second half of the season will follow, releasing on the streaming platform on July 27, 2023.
