Jimin from BTS collaborates with a lineup of talented artists, including Kodak Black, NLE Choppa, JVKE, and Muni Long, in “Angel Pt. 1,” the original soundtrack for the highly anticipated film “Fast X.”
According to Universal Pictures, the single is scheduled to be unveiled on May 18, just one day after the South Korean premiere of the movie. Additionally, Jimin takes on a starring role in the music video for the song, which is set to be released on the same day as the single.
Jimin becomes the trailblazing South Korean singer to make his mark on the soundtracks of the renowned “Fast & Furious” franchise. The composition of “Angel Pt. 1” was a collaborative effort by American rappers Kodak Black and NLE Choppa.
Jimin’s participation in “Angel Pt. 1” marks his third appearance in an original soundtrack. Previously, he contributed to “With You,” the original soundtrack for the tvN drama “Our Blues,” and his self-composed track “Friend” was featured in the Marvel movie “Eternals.”
“Fast X,” helmed by director Louise Leterrier, serves as the tenth installment in the iconic “Fast & Furious” film series, which had its inception in 2001.
At the heart of the film’s narrative is Dominic Toretto, who finds himself confronting the most formidable adversary his family has ever encountered.
