According to the Sunday reports, Jeremy Renner had been injured in an accident. After that, he was immediately taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
A representative from the Hawkeye star informed The Hollywood Reporter.
We can confirm Jeremy is in critical but stable condition with injuries suffered after experiencing a weather-related accident while plowing snow earlier today. His family is with him, and he is receiving excellent care.
Kristin Vietti, a Public information officer, told THR that on Sunday morning, deputies from the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to Renner’s home on Mt. Rose Highway in the Reno, Nevada region. She stated:
Upon arrival, deputies coordinated with Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District and REMSA Health to arrange for medical transport of Mr. Jeremy Renner via care flight to a local area hospital. Mr. Renner was the only involved party.
The sheriff’s office’s major accident investigation team is currently investigating further into the incident.
Several Marvel films and a Disney+ series featured Renner as Clint Barton/Hawkeye. At the same time, he is playing the role of Mike McLusky in the current season of Mayor of Kingstown on Paramount+.
Renner has been one of Hollywood’s most in-demand performers. He was nominated for an Oscar for his role in Kathryn Bigelow’s The Hurt Locker in 2010. Renner co-starred with Ben Affleck in the 2010 crime drama, The Town, which was his second Oscar nomination in a row after 2009’s Hurt Locker. Later the same year, in 2010, he made his acting debut as Hawkeye in a cameo in the film Thor, and since then, he has appeared in several Avengers movies, including the current No. 2 grossing film of all time, Avengers: Endgame (2019).
