Bigg Boss OTT 2 has been extended for another two weeks, according to presenter Salman Khan in the most recent Weekend Ka Vaar. And now, in order to capture the audience’s attention, creators will introduce two wildcards. New contestants are rumored to be actor-social media personality Aashika Bhatia and YouTuber Elvish Yadav.
The two hinted at their entry in the reality show on social media. “Life is about to change bigg time! Will be off social media for sometime. See you on the other side, Love Aashika Bhatia” wrote the Prem Ratan Dhan Payo actor in a cryptic Instagram post.

Elvish also shared a video of himself entering the ‘house’ on social media. “So ab time aagaya hai ghar ka system change karne ka. So tumhara bhai.. main aaraha hu ghar ke andar ek ek ka system ko hang karne aur sabko bang karne. So see you guys there (It’s time to change the system of the house. Your brother is entering to rile up the contestant and the house).” He concluded by captioning the post, “Support Zaroor Karna.”

Salman Khan praised the participants for entertaining the audience during the Weekend Ka Vaar segment on Saturday. He also informed them that because fans have been enjoying the show and the platform has been performing well, the producers of the show have decided to extend it for two additional weeks.
As the housemates sought to figure out their game plans for the prolonged term, their emotions were mixed. The show finale date has been pushed back by a fortnight to August 13. According to reports, eliminated contestant Palak Purswani could return to the show as a wildcard, along with Aashika and Elvish.
Cyrus Broacha had to leave the show recently due to an unexpected family incident. Although it was first thought to be temporary, the announcement in Bigg Boss’ Monday’s episode revealed that Cyrus’ journey on the reality show has come to an end with his sudden exit.
According to a statement released by JioCinema, Cyrus’ family was experiencing a medical emergency. The announcement read, “We regret to inform you that Cyrus Broacha had to take an emergency exit from Bigg Boss OTT 2 due to a sudden medical emergency in the family. As per Cyrus and his family’s request, we request you to allow privacy and understanding during this difficult period. Further details regarding the show will be shared in due course.”
